Blister packs that can be opened only by adults.
Research shows that 40% of children under the age of five when able to do so will experiment with the taking of medicines if available to them often confusing them with edible products. Haishun recognizes this serious health issue as many children have died as a result of overdose of strong medications and has developed its range of CR (child resistant) films for blister packs which does not allow easy push-through by children but may be opened by adults
Haishun is one of the first companies to intensively develop and extensively prompt this form of package.
HiPack Child-Resistant Packaging
Version 1:
Structure characteristics The choice of suitable paper layers ensures that the rupture strength of these CR films is significantly higher than regular push through aluminum mono foils.
Version 2:
Structure characteristics Polyester film inherently has a very high mechanical-strength and is impossible to push through or break by pressing force alone. By adopting specific manufacturing processes the bond strength between polyester film and the soft aluminum foil is relatively low making it quite easy for an adult to open by "lift and peeling" but not by push through.
CR films prevent accidental ingestion by making blister pack difficult to open. Tablets / capsules are individually packed in CR protected blister pockets.
High bond-integrity and anti-rupture strength, (significantly higher than mono foil lidding) purposely makes CR lidding difficult to open for children.
For adults who understand the process the product has an easy peel characteristic to delaminate he polyester, PVC or paper layer from the aluminum for easy-opening.
Haishun is committed to further development of effective CR packaging solutions in the interest of child safety.
